Call It 03:07
Tough luck Close up the shops Lets just all call it a year Being careful isn’t living in fear Cheer up The market will erupt On behalf of the working class An opportunity that hasn’t passed Come on Honey grab your gun So you can point it at all who pass No repercussions when the privileged harass But you won’t call it When you could profit On their lives On our lives Gaslight The ones right by your side Make them think they’ve had it all so wrong then wonder why they don’t come home Fight back The ones you have attacked In your protected life of crime A badge is worth more than a couple of lives But you can’t call it Cause you’ve already bought in- To the lie The lie

The Trap 03:37
Work hard, don’t play Build up your savings Pay off your debt So you can live By the time you’re dead Don’t think about too much, just run with it Born inside the trap Live inside the trap Feed inside the trap Sleep inside it Marry young Domestic bliss forever Get a job, work hard Turn a blind eye to the big picture Pay for healthcare 20 grand just to have kids Lie inside the trap Steal inside the trap Pray inside the trap Die inside it

Trees and leaves Housing the breeze Governing the air we breathe The push and pull Of waves and undertows Governing the sea Energy electricity Luxuries untold Waste bins Holding our sins Bury them away Burn it down Drown it out No more need For scenery Warm air Flooding everywhere Let’s ignore the sea Warm air Flooding everywhere Let’s ignore the trees

Rich Boys 03:45
The rich boy wants to go to mars Another belongs behind bars The rest all gawk over their attitudes And wish they could be them Approval ratings are just as full Of value as is the bible Unwavering faith in the ones Who claim to lead us The message tends to get lost On those who listen The ones to who don’t just can’t be bothered to begin with Theres too much privilege in being so oblivious What a waste of airspace What a waste of radio waves Rich boys are always punching walls Throwing fists in foreign bars Always drunk and crashing cars That their father’s bought Rich boys strut like they’re the catch Dumb enough to try and snatch Anything they see Pass them by But my words aren’t enough to describe The rest of them, the low lives they can be They uphold a false public image So they can be re-elected To poorly lead countries

Homebody 03:20
When I grow up I want to stay right here Nothing can hurt me if I never leave home I’ll get a job in the same place I was born No sense dancing with the great unknown I’ll join the local KOC Be convinced something else controls me Complain that the schools are robbing me And raise my fist in elderly anger I’ll serve my time in the armed forces and pin myself a hero for sweeping the floors I’ll take my holiday in Florida every year With my wife and 2 and a half kids I’ll play golf with my best friend The same one I’ve had since I was ten Then we’ll go to the bar and shoot the shit About how we haven’t changed one bit When I grow up I want to be the same As my fathers were, and theirs before them Bigoted and angry at everything Confused by progress and anything that’s change

released August 20, 2020

This record was written, recorded, and mixed between July 20th-28th of 2020 in my house in Delaware. The artwork was (poorly) drawn by myself and then scanned.

This began (impulsively) as the first attempt at recording and mixing a record without any help or input. All the songs were written in about three days, and they were recorded immediately afterward using a WA-47jr for pretty much everything, and an AKG D112 (for the kickdrum) through a Steinberg UR22 interface, recorded in Logic Pro X.

It's really janky sounding, but I think it accurately represents what I am capable of doing with what I have available to me. Because of this, I would HIGHLY recommend using headphones/speakers to listen to it! It won't sound that good on phone speakers, I promise!
