Nothing can hurt me if I never leave home
I’ll get a job in the same place I was born
No sense dancing with the great unknown
I’ll join the local KOC
Be convinced something else controls me

Complain that the schools are robbing me
And raise my fist in elderly anger


I’ll serve my time in the armed forces
and pin myself a hero for sweeping the floors
I’ll take my holiday in Florida every year
With my wife and 2 and a half kids
I’ll play golf with my best friend
The same one I’ve had since I was ten

Then we’ll go to the bar and shoot the shit
About how we haven’t changed one bit

When I grow up I want to be the same
As my fathers were, and theirs before them

Bigoted and angry at everything
